Mark Anthony Smith, age 51 of Barbourville was born in Barbourville, KY on February 5, 1973 to the late Jerry Smith and Bobbie Jean Smith and departed this life on August 31, 2024 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, being outside and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to his father: Jerry Smith; his grandparents: Jeff and Annie Mae Smith, and David and Ella Mae Spangole; and a host of uncles and aunts preceded him in death.
Mark is survived by his loving mother: Bobbie Jean Smith of Barbourville; his soulmate: Linda Swafford of Barbourville; a daughter: Amber Swafford of Corbin; 2 sons: Dalton Stamper of Gray, and Marcus Swafford of Barbourville; 2 brothers: Danny Smith and wife Jillian, and Scotty Smith all of Barbourville; 2 grandchildren: Colton Stamper and Alilonna Clark; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Mark Smith will be conducted in the Smith Cemetery on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Donald Smith officiating. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Family and friends will gather at graveside at the Smith Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Wednesday.
