Mrs. Mae Ramsey, age 93 of Bimble, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at her home. She was the widow of Walter Charles Ramsey and the daughter of Willie Liford and Janie (Owens) Liford born to them on May 7, 1930.
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter Ramsey, her parents, Willie and Janie Liford, her brothers, Ken Liford, Willie Liford, Jr., Ray Liford and Denville Liford and two sisters, Faye Kiser and Ruth Crepeau and a grandson, Michael Williamson.
Left behind to mourn her passing, two daughters, Sandra Liford of Flat Lick and Debbie Ramsey of Bimble, one son Larry Ramsey and wife Carolyn of Barbourville, one brother, Randal Liford and wife Denise of Michigan and one sister, Joyce Sutherland of Bimble, five grandchildren, Julie Burnette, Jerell Williamson, Jonathon Messer, Ashley Brasher and William Ramsey, many great-grandchildren and a special niece, Cathy Greaser. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at the Barbourville Cemetery on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Liford officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends.
