Ms. Louise Ann Hubbard, 58, of Gray, passed away Thursday morning, September 30, 2021 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. She was the daughter of Bobbie Sue McDonald Hubbard and the late Eddie Hubbard born on June 17, 1963 in Knox County.
Louise was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and taking care of others.
She united in marriage with Robert Hensley and to this union four children were born. Later she united in marriage with Donnie Helton and then with Lewis Thomas.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Jason Paul Hensley; a sister, Helen Roark; a brother, Edward Hubbard and a grandson, Steven Boyd Stewart.
Survivors include her loving mother, Bobbie Sue Hubbard of Gray; her children, Jonathan Dale Hensley of Flat Lick, Christine Ann Hensley and Kevin Ray Hensley both of Gray; two sisters, Brenda Thomas and husband, Ralph, of Gray and Alice Hubbard of Woollum; two brothers, Hershel Hubbard and wife, Brenda, and Eddie Hubbard all of Gray; 13 grandchildren, Kylee, Jonathan, Kaci, Hannah, who she raised as her own, Herman, Hunter, Johna and Rebecca Hensley, Savannah Messer, Kyra Hensley, Courtney Smith, Dillion and Emily Stewart; two great grandchildren, Ryker Messer and Toliver Brock; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A graveside service will be conducted in the Hubbard Cemetery Monday, October 4 at 4 P.M. with Rev. Daniel Wyatt officiating.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the caring staff of the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center.
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home Monday at 3 P.M. and go together in procession to the cemetery for the graveside service.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
