Obituary for Louetta Dunn (1945-2022)

Mrs. Louetta Dunn age 76 of Girdler, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at her home. She was born in Louisiana on December 21, 1945, the daughter of Woodrow and Agnes Miracle. Louetta had worked at Lawson’s Furniture, had been a caregiver and had most recently worked at McDonalds in London. She was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, her flowers and running the roads with Clyde.

      She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Agnes Miracle, her first husband Billie Jack Dunn, and one brother, Andrew Miracle.

      Left behind to mourn her passing, her husband Clyde Dixon of Girdler, three sons, Tommy Dunn and wife Zera and Roger Dunn all of Girdler and Billy Dunn and wife Gayle of Florence, two daughters, Melinda Hasting and husband Bob of Lima, Ohio, Suzetta Vaughn and husband Larry of Girdler, two step-daughters, Donna Ledington and husband Johnny and Sheila Dixon all of Corbin,a step-son Allen Dixon and wife Tammy of North Carolina, two brothers, Benjamin Miracle of Finley, Ohio and Cornelius Miracle and wife Becky of Ocala, Florida, one sister, Nora Aquiliana and husband Chuck of Lake Oregon, Michigan. She also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.

      Funeral services for Mrs. Dunn will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Barnard officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. She will be laid to rest in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

      Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.
