Lindsey Grubb, Jr., age 76 of Barbourville was born in Knox County, KY on November 1, 1948 to the late Lindsey Grubb, Sr. and Lois Taylor Grubb and departed this life on Saturday, April 26, 2025 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. He was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed joking with friends, working, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to his parents: Lindsey and Lois Grubb; 2 brothers: William Sprinkles, and Gary Scalf; and a sister: Charlene Morgan preceded him in death.
Lindsey is survived by his loving companion: Donna Hale of Barbourville; a son Lindsey Grubb, III and wife Shaunda of Barbourville; 3 daughters: Delone Trent and husband Mike of Barbourville, Mendy McElwane and husband Tommy of Lebanon Junction, KY, and Jennifer Bingham and husband Doug of Corbin; step-children: Jaylynn Honzhell, Arabella Smith, and McKenzie Carnes; 3 brothers: Calvin Grubb and wife Jane of Barbourville, Sunny Grubb of Bimble, and Charles Burton of Lake City, FL; 2 sisters: Shirley Tye of Barbourville, and Charlotte Baker and husband Jim of Corbin; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends to mourn his passing.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Lindsey Grubb, Jr. will be conducted in the Pavillion at the Barbourville Cemetery on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dustin Mills Officiating. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Cemetery Tuesday at 10:00 AM.
