Linda Sue Petrey Hurst, age 66 of Flat Lick was born in Corbin, KY on October 25, 1955 to the late Roy and Dorothy Brown Petrey and departed this life on February 10, 2022 at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed gardening, yard sales, spoiling the grandchildren, cooking, drinking Coffee on the porch, and time with family and friends.
Her parents Roy and Dorothy Petrey preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband: David Hurst of Flat Lick, KY; her children: Dorothy Warren and husband J R and Willie Hurst all of Flat Lick, KY, Tommy Hurst of CA, and Nina Partin of London; 3 brothers: Marshall Petrey and Dale Petrey and wife Judy all of Corbin, and Danny Petrey of London; 2 sisters: Mary Partin and Peggy Gonzalez both of Corbin; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Hurst will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.. Burial will follow in the McFarland Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
