Leonard Henson, known to many as Hobo the Clown, age 62 of Girdler was born in Knox County, KY on December 7, 1958 to the late Robert and Bessie Epperson Henson and departed this life on Sunday, April 4, 2021 in the Saint Joseph East Hospital in Lexington. He was a member of House of Prayer Baptist Church and enjoyed Wrestling, Church, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents: Robert and Bessie Henson; a brother: Thomas Henson preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving son: Justin Henson and fiancé Chasity Collins of Girdler; a brother: Robert Henson of Ramsey Branch; a sister: Catherine Coleman of Flat Lick, KY; 3 grandchildren: Mason, Madison, and Morgan; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Leonard Henson will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Reed Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the Murphy Family Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Thursday from 6 to 9 P.M. and Friday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 3. Due to the continuing Covid- 19 Pandemic, and new regulations from our Governor on gatherings all who attend all who attend will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
