Larry Taylor, 62, of Barbourville passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his home. He was born in Pineville on February 17, 1959 a son of the late Herman and Willie Jean Ridley Taylor. He had worked as a coal miner for over 20 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Isaac “Bo” Carnes.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Carnes; children Brandon Taylor, wife, Jessica, Ashley Taylor, Angiela Carnes and Alisha Sharp; grandchildren, Evan Taylor, Kaleb Taylor, Brody Taylor, Aiden Taylor, Elijah Brown, Cody (Brittany ) Carnes, Austin Caldwell, Blake West, Teayana Hurst and Zoey Sharp great-grandchildren, Payton Carnes, Landon Caldwell, Macey Caldwell, Blakely Caldwell, Noah West and Amalyn West; brothers and sisters, Joyce Taylor DeMint, Jerry (Carol) Taylor, Linda Taylor, David (Lisa) Taylor and Donna Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services will be at 5:00 PM Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Custer Watts and Rev. James Polly. Private burial services will follow the service.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Taylor Family.
