Larry Ray Centers, age 70 of Barbourville, was born in Pineville, KY on November 20, 1953 to the late Arthur Wilbur Centers and Lois Wright Centers and departed this life on August 25, 2024 at his home. He was a member of Roadside Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outside, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to his parents: Arthur and Lois Centers; his wife: Trula Ann Centers; a sister: Verdia Hammons; and a brother: David Centers preceded him in death.
Larry is survived by his loving children: Anthony Joseph Centers of Somerset, Russell Isiah Centers of Georgetown, and Heather Devon Centers of Barbourville; a brother: Ronnie Dewayne Centers of Barbourville; 3 sisters: Kathy Lawson, and Pamela Sue Rich and husband Bruce of Barbourville, and Willma Elisha Cain of Corbin; 6 grandchildren: Jayla Rayann Centers, Destinee Star Centers, Keegan Eli Centers, Joseph Liam Centers, Laci Isabella Centers, and Levi Jacob Centers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony for Mr. Larry Ray Centers will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Rarrieck officiating. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:oo PM to the Funeral hour at 4.
