Larry Calloway “LC” Cox, age 51 of Flat Lick was born in Pineville, KY on November 20, 1969 to the late Larry William Cox and Barbara Jean Myrick Cox and departed this life on December 14, 2020 at his residence. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, playing cards, singing, working, playing cards, drawing, working on cars, living life to its fullest, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, his grandparents: Henry and Maudie Cox and Ancil Myrick and Roxie Smith preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife: Vanessa Cox of Flat Lick; children: Larry William Cox, Timothy Calloway Cox, Adam Matthew Cox, and Laci Kay Cox all of Flat Lick; 3 stepchildren: Weston Hensley and Jordon Hensley both of Flat Lick, and Connor Overbay of Cannon; a sister: Tammy Johnson and husband Leon of Cannon; a granddaughter: Evelyn Jade Cox; special nephew: Andrew Steven Cox; special friends: Shelia Leddington Tigue and husband Buddy; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. LC Cox will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Sunday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2. Due to the continuing COVID-19 Pandemic, and new regulations from our Governor, all who attend will be required to wear face mask and practice Social Distancing.
