Kayetta Lester, age 69 of Barbourville was born on May 30, 1953 to the late Renus Glen and Geraldine Lester and departed this life on November 10, 2022 in the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and loved Jesus. Kayetta attended Horizon Adult Daycare (School she called it) in Williamsburg, KY. She enjoyed coloring, crafts, watching cartoons, especially the Flintstones, family gatherings at the Holidays, and her most important thing was time with family. She always showed concern for others and her love showed in her sweet smile which made even the worst day better.
Most of all, she was Thankful for her family and even though we know that Kay is dancing and rejoicing with the Angels, and all of our loved ones that are already home, we will miss her. The Lester Family all love our sweet Kay-Kay.
In addition to her parents: Renus Glen and Geraldine Lester; special nephew: Joseph Lester; and special niece: Karen Lester preceded her in death.
Kay is survived by her loving siblings: Tonya Garland, Darylene Garland and Justin Lawson, Geralene Elswick and husband Brandon, and Darrell Lester and wife Carolyn all of Corbin; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
A Graveside Service for Ms. Kayetta Lester will be conducted in the Williams Cemetery on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. with family and friends officiating. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will gather at graveside in the Williams Cemetery Monday at 1.
