Barbourville, Ky. – Katrina Marie Belcher, 61, of Gray, Kentucky passed away August 11, 2023. Katrina was the daughter of Leroy Earls Sr. and Anita Gay Hensley Earls born to them on December 17, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Katrina was a sweet, kindhearted person. In college she joined the ROTC and later became a member of the National Guard. She worked many years as an EMT in Barbourville and Neon, Kentucky helping others in need. Katrina enjoyed spending time at the lake, caving, working in her garden, and cooking. But most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Katrina will be remembered fondly by all those fortunate to know her.
Left behind to mourn her passing is son Derrick Belcher of Barbourville, Kentucky, and daughter Anita Cheyenne Autume Hubbard (Darren) of Barbourville, Kentucky, brothers Tim Earls (Stacie) of Burlington, Kentucky and Leroy Earls Jr. of Barbourville, Kentucky, and sisters Angie Alvey (Mark) of Hendersonville, Kentucky and Darlene Welch (Mike) of Port Orange, Florida. Four grandchildren, Gavin Jones, Kinsley Hubbard, Shalyn Messer, and Presley Belcher, also survive Katrina and will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents, Leroy and Anita Earls, Katrina was preceded in death by granddaughter Kylie Jones.
