Mrs. Karen (Butler) Towe, age 58 of London, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London. She was born on September 7, 1965, the daughter of the late General and Georgia Sue (Williams) Butler. Karen was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her children and granddaughter. She liked traveling, listening to music and loved ice cream.
Left behind to mourn her passing, her husband Randall of London, two sons, Justin Lee Towe and partner Michael Moore of Richmond and Shane General Towe and friend, Kelsey Thacker of London, granddaughter, Isabella Towe, a sister, Thelma Hall and husband Ollie of London, four brothers, Bill Butler of Latonia, Kentucky, Ronnie Butler of Trosper, Larry Butler and wife Cathy of Trosper and Carlos Butler and wife Anna of Trosper, sisters-in-law, Sheryl Briggs of Claremont, North Carolina and Kelly Cloninger and husband Mark of Icard, North Carolina, a brother-in-law, Billy Towe of Hickory, North Carolina and mother-in-law, Marian Gill of Icard, North Carolina. She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Karen Towe will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Nathan Ledford officiating. She will be laid to rest near her parents in the Tinsley Cemetery at Trosper. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
