June Rose Bryant Mills, age 52 of Flat Lick was born Cincinnati, OH on June 29, 1969 to the late Ronnie Bryant and Shelia Funk Bryant and departed this life on July 17, 2021 in the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed helping others, crocheting, cooking, writing and listening to music, reading, going to the lake, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her father, a nephew: Jayden Bryant; great nephew: Baby Isiah Charles; and father-in-law: Hobert Mills preceded her in death.
June is survived by her loving husband: Danny Mills of Flat Lick; her mother: Shelia Bryant and husband Michael Schott of Cincinnati, OH; her daughters: Ashley Petredis and husband Bradley of Artemus, and Heather Wombles of Flat Lick; 2 brothers: Ronald Bryant and wife Kim and Melvin Bryant and wife Emily all of Cincinnati, OH; 4 sisters: Christina Bryant, Ruth Bryant and husband Bart Hendershot, Elizabeth “Lisa” Bryant and fiancé Matthew Brown all of Cincinnati, OH, and Shelia Helton and husband Jeff of Florence, KY; A step sister: Angela Sparks and husband Ronald of Corbin. 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; special mother-in-law: Hazel Mills of Flat Lick; other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. with Rev. Wayne Holder and Brother Dallas Lewis officiating. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
