June Louise Wyatt Hubbard, age 75 of Swan Pond was born in Knox County, KY on October 7, 1945 to the late William “Bill” Wyatt and Lucille McDonald Wyatt and departed this life on Friday, March 26, 2021 in the Baptist Health of Corbin Hospital. She was a member of Old Time Baptist Church and enjoyed working in her flowers, mowing the yard, being outside, watching Jeopardy, and time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents: Bill and Lucille Wyatt; her husband: Alvin Hubbard; 2 sons: Alvin Hubbard, Jr., and William Harold Hubbard; a daughter: Lucille Hubbard; a brother: Johnny Wyatt; and a sister: Virginia Hensley preceded her in death.
June is survived by her loving children: Patricia Lynn Messer and husband Doug, and Lisa Ann Blankenship and husband Gerald all of Corbin; a grandson she raised: William Alvin Johnson of Swan Pond; 5 brothers: Randal Wyatt and Robert Wyatt both of Barbourville, Paul Wyatt of Corbin, George Wyatt and wife Ann of Grays, and Ray Wyatt and wife Nona of Lafayette, IN; a sister: Freda Hensley and husband Glenn of Corbin; grandchildren: Tammy Hall, Gerald Ray Blankenship and wife BJ, Michael Hubbard, Bub Hubbard, Morgan Grant, Megan Grant, and Joshua Johnson; 8 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. June Hubbard will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Daniel Rutledge and Rev. Daniel Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaty Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Sunday Evening from 6 to 9 P.M. and Monday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 1. Due to the continuing Covid- 19 Pandemic, and new regulations from our Governor on gatherings all who attend all who attend will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
