Mrs. Judy Payne age 69 of Bimble, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, August 15, 2022 in the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. She was born on December 22, 1952 in Laurel County, Kentucky and was the daughter of Fred Bolton and Gertie (Irvin) Bolton.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Fred and Gertie Bolton, her husband Randall Payne, two brothers, Ray Bolton and Louis Bolton and two sisters, Anna Jane Elliott and Ruby Yvonne Bolton.
Judy was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church. She loved listening to music, doing puzzles and was a talented quilter and seamstress. Her family brought her much joy in her life especially her grandchildren.
Left behind to mourn her passing, her daughter Carol Doolin and husband Michael of Heidrick, her son Randy Dean Payne and wife Jessica of Barbourville, her grandchildren, Travis Mills and wife Shelby Grace, Chandler Mills, Sydnee Payne, Morgan Payne and Austin Doolin, one very special great grandson, Knox Everett Mills, two brothers, Roger Bolton and wife Linda of Indiana and Roy Bolton of Kansas, one sister, Freddie Sue Smith of Lily, Kentucky. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Payne will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest in the Smith Cemetery beside her husband Randall. Pallbearers will be family members.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00.
