Joseph Clarence Lester, age 42, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Baptist Health in Corbin.
He was born on November 11, 1981, in Corbin, Kentucky. Joseph was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle and he was a selfless friend to all who knew and loved him. Joseph had an adventurous heart and loved helping those he met. He enjoyed fishing and four wheeling, and he was baptized at Forward Community Church in Corbin.
Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, Renus and Geraldine Lester, and Opal Sears; brother, Jason Lester, and by an aunt, Kayetta Lester.
He is survived by his parents, Darrell and Carolyn Lester; children, Joe Wes Lester, Christoper Lester, and Kaylynn Lester, and he was awaiting his first grandchild, Evanora Gracelynn Lester. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Lester, and by his nieces and nephews, Dallas Helbig, Rafe Lester, Justice Lester, Carlee Goble, and Kiersten Bowlin.
Visitation will be on Easter Sunday, from 12-3pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 3pm. Burial will follow in the Lester Cemetery in Rockholds, KY. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Joseph, please visit our floral store.
