John Warren, Jr. age 71 of Corbin was born in Knox County, KY on February 6, 1950 to Callie Combs Warren and the late John Warren, Sr. and departed this life on September 1, 2021 in the Baptist Health of Corbin Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed fishing, working with Model Cars, Puzzle Books, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his father, 4 brothers: Dewhite Warren, Shirley Warren, Earnie Warren, and Bill Warren; 6 half-brothers: Buster Warren, Homer Warren, Tommy Warren, Roy Warren, Russell Warren and Buster Warren; 4 half-sisters: Vada May, Martha Jackson, Vonda Broughton, and Alice Warren; and 2 nephews: Jason Warren and Flem Warren preceded him in death.
John is survived by his loving wife: Reda Warren of TN; his loving mother: Callie Warren of Flat Lick; his daughter: Brenda Carter and husband Jacob of Gray; 2 brothers: Clarence Warren and wife Patsie of Gray, and Flem Warren of Barbourville; 3 sisters: Cole Collins and Maggie Mills both of Flat Lick, and Nannie Dean of Barbourville; 4 grandchildren: Jamie, Kirra, Ava, and Aiden; a special friend: Roy Broughton; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. John Warren, Jr. will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Chris Brown and Rev. Steve Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
