Mr. John Anderson Scott, 50, of Barbourville, passed away Friday afternoon, September 29, 2023 at Landmark of Breathitt in Jackson. He was the son of Sharon Jean Scott Collins and the late John A. Smith born on August 1, 1973 in Cincinnati, OH.
John believed in the Baptist faith. He enjoyed building model cars and riding his four-wheeler.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Sharon Ann Scott and Dustin Miracle of Green Road; his mother, Sharon Jean Collins of Barbourville; a sister, Angela Reanee Gregory and husband, Jamie, of Cannon; a brother, Jason Paul Scott and wife, Cynthia, of Barbourville; nine grandchildren, Bentley, Aidan, Kaidence, Addyson, Kinzly, Brylee, Jayden, Weston and Kaisen Miracle; a special great niece, Aubree Scott; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Final arrangements will be announced in the coming days.
The family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
