Mr. John Aaron Jackson, 36, of Lexington, formerly of Barbourville, passed away Wednesday morning, July 17, 2024 in Lexington. He was the son of Tammy Garland Jackson and the late Johnny Jackson born October 31, 1987 in Pineville.
Aaron was a self employed handyman and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He had a personality that could light up any room and could make you laugh or smile. He enjoyed playing basketball, spending time with his family and friends watching his favorite movies and drinking Mountain Dew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Jackson.
Survivors include his loving mother, Tammy Jackson of Bay City, TX; sisters, Crystal Mills of Heidrick and Michelle Jackson of Barbourville; nieces and nephews, Caylan and Zackery Mills, Allana and John Smith and Bailey Thomas; several aunts, uncles and cousins; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A celebration of his life will be held in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, July 23 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Shane Bingham officiating.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday after 1 P.M. until the service time.
If you wish, gifts may be made in the form of contributions to the Isaiah House Treatment Center in his memory.
