Jody Dewayne Christopher, age 51 of Arjay was born in Pineville, KY on July 15, 1973 to George Patrick and Rosalee Christopher and departed this life on April 4, 2025 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed 4-wheeling, cutting the grass, anything outside, he had a very kind heart, and time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Virgil and Ruth Knuckles, and Mack and Nollie Patrick; a brother: James Steven Christopher; stepfather: Gary Hoskins; aunts and uncles: Mattie Sanders, Sharon Knuckles, Warren Curtis Knuckles, Carla Ward, James L Geroge Knuckles, Gilbert Smith, James Patrick, Charlie Patrick, Alice Patrick, Nadine Parrott, Ruby Brummett, Cerna Saylor, Paul Roark, and Nellie Jones.
Jody is survived by his loving parents: George Edward Patrick and wife Sherry, and Rosalee Christopher; his children: Tianna Christopher and Daniel, Stephanie Christopher and Alex, and Jacob Christopher; 2 grandchildren: Haisley Christopher and Ryker Parker; aunts and uncles: Tina and David Burnett, Tammy and Carl Runyon, Kenneth Knuckles, Jay Patrick and Henrietta Owens, Daniel Patrick, Jimmie Beth and Boss Lake, Hannah Roark, Dorothy and Nick Adams, and Mary Christopher; many other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Jody Christopher will be conducted in the Green Camp Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Gary Wagner and Rev. Terry Nelson officiating. The Committal Service will be conducted in the Knuckles Christopher Cemetery on Thursday at 12 Noon with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Green Camp Pentecostal Church Wednesday from 1 to 9 PM.
