Joanne Darlene Engle Gregory, age 57 of Hinkle was born in Barbourville, KY on August 28, 1963 to the late Dewey Ray Engle and Joyce Elaine Hobbs Engle and departed this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed being a caregiver, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her father: Dewey Ray Engle; her husband: Dennis Gregory; and a grandson: Jayden Engle preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving mother: Joyce Elaine Engle of Hinkle; 2 sons: Jason Engle and wife Amanda of London, and Jeremy Gregory of Hinkle; 3 brothers; Randall Engle, Ronald Engle and wife Lisa, and David Engle and wife Melissa all of Hinkle; a sister: Shelia Engle of Girdler; 3 grandchildren: Connor Engle, Matthew Gregory, and Kaydence Engle; other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Joanne Gregory will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. David Mounce officiating. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Saturday from 2 to 4 P.M.. Due to the continuing COVID-19 Pandemic, and new regulations from our Governor gatherings will be limited and all who attend will be required to wear face mask and practice Social Distancing.
