Mr. Jerry Wayne Mills age 56 of Scalf, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, June 24, 2024. He was born in Pineville, Kentucky on January 10, 1968, and was the son of Marie (Messer) Smith and the late Ennis J. Mills. He was the widow of Beatrice Mills who preceded him in death on November 22, 2020. Jerry was a member of the Salt Gum Baptist Church and worked as a logger.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his mother, Marie Smith of Corbin, one daughter Tasha McCulley , two grandchildren, Bentley Mills and Sarah McCulley all of Scalf, eight brothers and sisters, Larry Mills and wife Lovella of Knox County, Ricky J. Mills of Corbin, Donna Lawson and husband Marvin of Sevierville, TN, Carolyn Mills of Barbourville, Linda Combs and husband Tandy of Fairborn, Ohio, Brenda Smiley of Hamilton, Ohio, Lisa Alsip of Barbourville and Melody Kemner of Walker. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Wayne Mills will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tony Bowling and Rev. Chris Brown officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Mills Cemetery at Scalf. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
