Jenetta Gambrel, age 54 of Gray, KY was born in Knox County, KY to the late Virgil and Litha Smith Gambrel and departed this life on March 11, 2020 at her home. She was a member of Boone Height Pentecostal Church and enjoyed family gatherings, caring for her mother, shopping, interior decorating, going to Church with family, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, a grandson: Zachary Nathaniel Gambrel; 3 brothers: Earl Dean Gambrel, Danny Dean Gambrel, and Larry Joe Gambrel; and a sister: Mary Lou Gambrel preceded her in death.
She is survived her loving husband: Clyde Gambrel of Gray; a daughter: Clarissa Broughton and husband Matthew of Corbin; 3 sons: Brian Steven Gambrel and fiancé Christian and Clyde Eric Gambrel and wife Natasha all of Corbin, and Darren Joshua Gambrel of Gray; 5 brothers: David Gambrel of Corbin, Ricky Gambrel and wife Dora of Scalf, Donnie Gambrel of Walker, Billy Lee Gambrel of Dewitt, and Lonnie Ray Gambrel of Flat Lick; 2 sisters: Wilma Honeycutt and husband Cecil of Flat Lick, and Penny Lavon Brown of Scalf; 3 grandchildren: Cameron Brian Gambrel, Landon Isaiah Justice Gambrel, and Amelia Kay Gambrel; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Jenetta Gambrel will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Charles Henson and Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Gambrel Family Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Saturday Evening from 6 to 9 P.M. and Sunday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 2.
