Mr. Jay E. Parker “Joker”, age 73 of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, September 5, 2024. He was the son of Lee Parker and Leona Honeycutt Parker, born to them on April 21, 1951. Jay was a member of the Swan Pond Baptist Church and was well known in Knox and surrounding counties as a mobile D.J.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Leona Parker, and one brother.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his two children, Missy Burnett and husband David of Flat Lick and James Parker of Barbourville, four grandchildren, Dustin Williams, Christian Burnett, Jonah Parker and Jaxon Parker. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Hampton Funeral Home on Monday evening, September 9th, 2024, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. to share stories and memories of Jay with each other.
