Mr. James Wesley “Jim” Leger, 78, of Barbourville, passed away Tuesday morning, March 17, 2020 at the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the son of the late Frank Delmar Leger and Estelle Louise Riley Leger Tinsley born on April 23, 1941 at Ft. Knox.
Jim was a former delivery man with Barton Gas Co., of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include a sister, Carol M. Tinsley of Corbin; a brother, Raymond D. Leger and wife, Ada, of Barbourville; two nieces, Angela Leger-Wagers and husband, Gary, and Heather Leger; a nephew, Steven Leger and wife, Melissa; two great nieces, Ashlee and Madison; a great nephew, Christopher; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
