Mr. James Warren Sieg, 74, of Corbin, passed away Tuesday evening, January 14, 2020 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was the son of the late Warren James and Evelyn Harder Sieg born on March 23, 1945 in Janesville, WI.
James was a retired pharmacist and currently a shipping manager with SEKRI. He was of the Christian faith and a military enthusiast. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army as a medic during Vietnam. James had a keen sense of humor, enjoyed fixing things was a meticulous and helpful person.
On July 17, 1998, he united in marriage with Janet Sue Hammons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Ramsey and a nephew, Jeremy Ramsey.
Survivors include his loving wife, Janet Hammons of Corbin; his daughter, Jennifer Hoover and husband, Chris, of Fishers, IN; three grandchildren, Olivia, Willow and River; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A private funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, January 18 at 1 P.M. with Rev. James Vandy officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Patterson Cemetery with military funeral honors.
Casket bearers will be Sonny Smith, Patrick Mays, Tony Smith and Chris Hoover. Honorary bearers will be his co-workers at SEKRI.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
