Mr. Jack Grubb, 63, of Woodbine, passed away Wednesday morning, February 5, 2020 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was the son of the late Coy and Eva Pearl Taylor Grubb born on November 1, 1956 in Manchester.
Jack was a former drywaller, of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and tinkering with cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Pollie Smith and Evelyn Davidson and two brothers, Harlan “Dub” Grubb and Coy Grubb Jr.
Survivors include his loving wife, Rebecca Miracle Grubb of Woodbine; four children, Melinda Sue McDaniel of Manchester, Polly Ann Grubb of Tennessee, Pamela Allen and husband, James, of Woodbine and Anthony Elliott of Wisconsin; five sisters, Bobbie Cales and Della Wagers both of Corbin, Betty Gale Gibson of Lexington, Lisa Jones of Manchester and Linda Grant of Tennessee; a brother, Johnny Grubb and wife, Janie, of Corbin; several grandchildren, including a special grandson, Dylan Allen; several great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, February 15 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Harris Brewer officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Edwards Cemetery at Balkan in Bell County.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Saturday prior to the funeral hour.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
