Infant Vernon James Rice, the son of Burchell Rice, Jr. and Kendra Rice was born and Passed away on March 24, 2024 in the Baptist Health of Corbin Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Michael Wayne Frederick; an aunt: Katelyn Hope Frederick; and an uncle: Jimmy Brown.
He is survived by his loving parents: Burchell Jr. and Kendra Rice of Flat Lick; grandparents: Vernon and Sonya Frederick, and Burchell Sr. and Ellen Rice; 3 brothers: Little Burchell Rice, Michael Frederick, and Westen Sizemore; 2 sisters: Isabella Rice, and Harper Rice; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Infant Vernon James Rice will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home Saturday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2.
