Mr. Hubert Doolin, Jr. age 60 of Barbourville, was born in Knox County, KY on February 20, 1961 to the late Hubert Doolin, Sr. and Julie Mills Doolin and departed this life on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, 2 brothers: Dennis Doolin and Kenneth Doolin; and 2 sisters: Florence Doolin and Agnes Warf preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 8 years: Rosie Doolin; a daughter: Maggie Hubbard and husband Walter of Girdler; 2 stepsons: Arron Scott of Barbourville and Terry Smallwood of Boone Height; 4 stepdaughters: Stephanie Smallwood of Boone Height, Destiny Scott of AL, Kasey Branson of NC, and Chassity Shelton of Girdler; 4 brothers: Henderson Doolin, Jerry Doolin and fiancé Vinea, and Ronnie Doolin and wife Beverly all of Boone Height, and Gary Doolin and wife Brenda of Corbin; 2 sisters: Lisa Doolin and Donna Hale both of Boone Height; 9 grandchildren; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Hubert Doolin, Jr. will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Mike Lifford officiating. Burial will follow in the Mills Cemetery with Ralph Smith, Cameron Smith, Bill Warf, Terry Smith, Jerry Johnson, and Willie Stewart serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Friday Evening from 6 to 9 P.M. and Saturday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 2. Due to the continuing Covid- 19 Pandemic, and regulations from our Governor on gatherings all who attend will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
