Mr. Herman Brown, age 57 of Scalf, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born on November 7, 1966, the son of Ed and Lillie Brown. He attended Concord Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his four wheeler, hunting, going out on Saturday nights and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his son Herman Allen Brown and wife Lexi and grandson, Bayman Kipper Brown of Hawaii, two sisters, Betty Brown of Barbourville and Loretta Burnett and husband Don Lee of Scalf, one brother, James Ed Brown, Jr. and wife Michelle of Woodbine, his girlfriend, Debbie Messer of Walker, nieces and nephews, Carl Richard Burnett and wife Lauren, Austin Ollis Burnett, Nathan Brown and wife Heather, Zachary Brown and wife Liza, Logan Brown, Deanna Garcia and husband Nacho and William Bailey and a special cousin, Goble Brown. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be conducted on Sunday, July 7th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Gene Smith and Rev. Terry Broughton officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Charlie Brown Cemetery at Scalf. Pallbearers will be, Austin Ollis Burnett, Carl Richard Burnett, Nathan Brown, Zachary Brown, Logan Brown, Goble Brown, William Bailey, Don Lee Burnett, Hank Brown and Mike Brown. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
