Henderson Hodge, age 77 of Flat Lick, was born in Knox County, KY on May 10, 1944 to the late Nute and Thelma Bays Hodge and departed this life on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed mowing grass, taking care of the properties, Coon Hunting, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, a sister: Marie Broughton preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife: Anna Faye Hodge of Flat Lick; 2 sons: Jerry Wayne Hodge of Flat Lick, and Nute “Beaver” Hodge and wife Jeannie of Cannon; a brother: Jerry Hodge and wife Charlotte of Harlan; a sister: Martha Gambrel of Flat Lick; special niece: Betty Gibson of Barbourville; 4 grandchildren: Lena Hodge, Noah Hodge, Jerry Hodge, and Austin Hodge; 4 great grandchildren: Gabby, Layla, Joseph, and Scarlett; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Henderson Hodge will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Charles Eversole officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Tuesday Evening from 6 to 9 P.M. and Wednesday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 2.
