Henderson “Duke” Doolin, age 58 of Barbourville was born in Knox County, KY on June 19, 1963 to the late Hubert and Julie Mills Doolin and departed this life on April 30, 2022 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, helping Brad care for the Chickens and Pigs, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, 3 brothers: Kenneth Doolin, Hubert Doolin, Jr., and Dennis Ray Doolin; and 2 sisters: Agnes Warf and Florence Doolin preceded him in death.
Duke was survived by his loving siblings: Ronnie Doolin and wife Beverly, Jerry Doolin and Vena Asher, Donna Doolin and Lisa Doolin all of Barbourville, and Gary Doolin and wife Brenda of Corbin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Henderson “Duke” Doolin will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Doolin Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 to 9 P.M. and Wednesday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 2.
