Hazel Honeycutt Gray, age 86 of Barbourville was born in Knox County, KY on January 21, 1935 to the late Nathan Dempsey Honeycutt and Mary Alice Woods Honeycutt and departed this life on January 26, 2022 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. She was of the Holiness Faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching Football and UK Basketball, gardening, and time with family and friends especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, a grandson: Neil Davis; 2 brothers: Arnold Honeycutt and Thomas Honeycutt; and 2 sisters: Flossie Miller and Mable Carpenter preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving children: Jackie Thomas Gray and wife Vicky of Jellico, TN and Patricia Gray Dean and husband Danny of Bimble; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Hazel Gray will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Honeycutt branch Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
