Harry Francis Bennett, age 88 of Flat Lick was born in Harrisburg, PA on November 17, 1935 to the late Silas and Twila Silvis Bennett and departed this life on May 17, 2024 at his home. He was a member of Road Fork Holiness Church and enjoyed Gensenging, being outside, watching Westerns, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, 5 brothers: George Bennett, Stanley Jackson Bennett, Oscar Bennett, Ronald Bennett, and Wayne Bennett; and a sister: Twila Collette preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 56 years: Rosie Bennette of Flat Lick; 3 children: Michael Bennett, Vernon Bennett and Roxanne Bennett all of Flat Lick; 5 grandchildren: Caleb Bennett, Elijha Covington, Cayce Hatfield, Zack Gambriel, and James Grayson Baker; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Harry Bennett will be conducted in the Road Fork Holiness Church on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Gilbert Collins and Brother Caleb Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Family Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home Wednesday Evening from 6 to 9 PM, and at the Road Fork Holiness Church from 6 PM Thursday to the funeral hour at 2:00 PM Friday.
