Harrison Monroe Smith, age 67 of Barbourville was born in Frankfort, KY on September 9, 1957 to the late Isaac Smith and Lola Mae Helton Smith and departed this life on October 11, 2024 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed Gensenging, fishing, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents: Isaac and Lola Mae Smith; a brother: James Wesley Smith; and a brother-in-law: Marlow Brock preceded him in death.
Harrison is survived by his loving children: Ashlie Nicole Mills and husband Mike of Bimble, Shannon Kaye Greene and husband William of Ingram, Ami Danta Lea Hobbs and husband John, Cindy Jean Fanney and husband Ramon all of Flat Lick, Harrison Carl Smith of Green Road, KY, William Franklin Smith and wife Kayla, Justin Henson, and Albert France all of Girdler; wife: Precilla Smith of Flat Lick, long time partner: Tammy Henson of Barbourville; 5 brothers: Floyd Smith, David Smith, Clarence Smith, Isaac Smith, Jr., and Howard Smith; and 2 sisters: Sally Smith and Edith Mae Brock; special niece and nephew: Lola Brock and Justin Brock; 23 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Harrison Smith will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. Burial will follow in the Betty Frost Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2.
