Mr. Harold Russell Partin, 84, of Barbourville, passed away Saturday morning, February 10, 2024 at the home of his son in Cincinnati, OH. He was the son of the late Dennis Partin and Ruth Broughton Partin Smith born on August 12, 1939 in Barbourville.
Harold was a former group leader with the Formica Corporation and was a member of Christian Life Fellowship. He was a member of the Hoffner Masonic Lodge #253 F & AM, Oola Khan Grotto M.O.V.P.E.R., a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and York Rite Shriner. Harold was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Chester and Alan Partin and Ginger Smith.
Survivors include his loving son, Michael Partin and wife, Mary, of Cincinnati, OH; four sisters, Jeanne Hopkins and husband, Mike, Debbie Zieglmeier and husband, Ken, Eileen Argo and Sue Smith; a brother, Roger Partin; cherished grandchildren, Eric Partin and wife, Emma, Emily Partin Flick and husband, Zack, Laura Partin Steel and husband, Dave, and Andrea Partin; great grandchildren, Preston, Cooper, Beckett and Madden Flick, Remington Steel and Jaxson and Mavrick Partin; special friends, Buddy and Traci Abner, Anthony “Boss Man” and Tonya Liford and Wendell and Joann Jackson; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, February 17 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Earnest Broughton and Rev. Leslie Broughton officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
