Glennis Mills, age 53 of Scalf, Ky was born in Pineville, KY on April 22, 1967 to the late Leon Mills and Imogene Bingham Mills and departed this life on March 21, 2021 in the Baptist Health of Lexington. He was a member of the Old Flat Lick Baptist Church and enjoyed working horses, trading guns and knives, coon hunting, watching westerns, going to stock sales, gardening and time with family and friends especially the grandsons.
In addition to his father Leon Mills, a brother in law David Mills preceded him in death.
Glennis is survived by his loving wife Priscilla mills of Scalf: His mother Imogene Mills of Scalf : 2 Sons Glendale Mills of Scalf and Justin Mills and wife Mikayla of Flat Lick, KY: 1 Daughter, Megan Mills of Scalf: 1 Brother, Donald Ray Mills of Scalf: 1 sister, Linda Kay Mills of Scalf: 2 grandchildren, JJ Rice and Colson Laine Mills.
Funeral services for Mr. Glennis Mills will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Nate Messer officiating, Burial will follow in the Clark- Bargo Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00- 9:00 pm, Thursday, from 10:00 Am til 9:00 PM and on Friday from 11:00 Am until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM. Due to the continuing Covid- 19 Pandemic, and new regulations from our Governor on gatherings all who attend all who attend will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
