Geneva Riley Mills, age 73 of Barbourville was born in Knox County, KY on February 8, 1952 to the late Issac Riley and Elsie “Berthie” Vaughn Riley and departed this life on Monday, March 24, 2025 in the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed going to the lake, riding motorcycles, and time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, 4 brothers: Billy Ray Riley, Ralph Riley, Wayne Riley, and Glenn Riley; and a sister: Teresa Lynn Hubbard preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons: Charles Anthony Mills and Denver Joseph Mills and wife Karen all of Belton, SC; a brother: Issac Lee Riley and wife Sherry of Barbourville; a sister: Sudie Ellen Broughton and husband Johnny of Barbourville; 2 sisters-in-laws: Joyce Riley, and Mary Riley; a brother-in-law: Mike Hubbard; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Geneva Mills will be conducted in the Pavillion at the Barbourville Cemetery on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM with family and friends officiating. Burial will follow. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will gather at the Barbourville Funeral Home Friday at 1:00 PM to the departure time at 2.
