Mr. Gary Lynn Eversole, age 62 of Heidrick, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, December 11, 2023 at his home. He was the husband of Debbie (Hamilton) Eversole and the son of Billie Joyce Swafford. Gary was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church. He was a big UK fan and a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals. He liked listening to music but his favorite thing to do was spending time and playing with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his step-father, Dan Swafford and his father-in-law, Vernon “Dude” Hamilton.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his wife Debbie Eversole of Heidrick, his mother, Billie Joyce Swafford of Greenroad, two children, Amy Gregory and husband Travis of Trosper and Dylan Eversole and wife Kaley of Heidrick, four grandchildren, Avery Gregory, Amelia Gregory, Kaydence Eversole and Paisley Eversole, his mother-in-law Geraldine Hamilton of Trosper, brothers-in-law Michael Hamilton and wife Missy of Trosper, Rev. Tim Hamilton and wife Barbara of Artemus and Jerry Hamilton and wife Lisa of Trosper, cousins, Billie Jo Harris and Nikki Barger both of Cincinnati. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Gary Lynn Eversole will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Hamilton and Rev. Tony Nierengarten officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Dan Swafford Cemetery at Greenroad. Pallbearers will be, Ethan Hamilton, Logan Hamilton, Eric Trent, Scott Helton, Tony Helton, Travis Gregory, Dylan Eversole. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Hamilton, Jerry Hamilton, and Dr. Kelvin Perry. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
