Frederick “Fred” Napier, age 62 of Barbourville was born in Indiana on September 21, 1958 to the late Albert and Emily Couch Napier and departed this life on Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. He is of the Pentecostal Faith and enjoyed fishing tournaments, watching Westerns, camping, squirrel hunting, playing music, Skeet shooting, training Beagles, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents; a brother: Rev. Ray Napier; and 2 special aunts: Sara and Big Sis preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 37 years: Donna Napier of Barbourville; a son: Tyler Frederick Napier and fiancé McKayla Lowery of Barbourville; 5 brothers: Al Napier and wife Katrina of IN, Frank Napier and wife Shelly of London, Jeff Napier and wife Christy of Bailey Switch, Greg Napier of Corbin, and Richard Allen Napier of Lexington; a sister: Delois Napier Rosser and husband Steve of Georgia; a sister in law: Rosemary Napier of Barbourville; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Fred Napier will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Ted Eversole and Rev. Duke Hammons officiating. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
