Eugene “Gene” Bolton, age 79, of Corbin, Ky passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Baptist Health Corbin.
Gene was born September 19, 1942, in Corbin, Ky., to the late Blaine and Anna Knuckles Bolton.
Gene was the owner of Bolton’s Towing and Recovery of Corbin. Gene served in the United States Air Force and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parent’s Gene was preceded in death by one brother; Alton Bolton.
Gene is survived by his loving wife; Ruby Rains Bolton of Corbin, three children; Carl Bolton of Knox County, Kevin Bolton and wife Peggy Bolton, Russell Bolton and wife Dana Bolton, all of Corbin, nine grandchildren; Brandon Bolton , Danielle Wallen, Brittany Abbott, Anthony Walters, Jamie Helton, Kelsey O’Neill, Sarah Bolton, Jesse Bolton, Kaylee Bolton, five great-grandchildren; Jax Abbott, Blair O’Neill, Dallas Mae O’Neill, Dillon Wallen, Haley Messer, and host of family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 noon to 2:00 p.m. at O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022, at O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home. With the Rev. Shelby Hampton Officiating Following the services, he will be laid to rest in the Smith Cemetery.
Military Honors will be conducted by American legion post 88 Fonzie wilder.
