Mrs. Ethel “Pat” Farris, 82, of Wakarusa, IN, the widow of Clarence Farris Jr., passed away Wednesday morning, February 5, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Wakarusa. She was the daughter of the late George and Rose Davidson Eversole born on August 2, 1937 in Manchester.
Pat was a former property manager and a member of the Old Ark House of Prayer. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading her Bible, gardening, watching birds and admired the beauty of nature.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Clida McKinney, Irene Kelly, Kathleen “Ruby” Smith and Laura Abrams; two brothers, Billy and Bobby Eversole and a great grandson, Don Sopko.
Survivors include a son, Tommy Farris and wife, Cynthia, of Bristol, IN; four daughters, Tena Starks and husband, Keven, of Watsontown, PA, Brenda Henson of Corbin, Wanda Henson-Pratt of Indianapolis, IN, and Linda Cox of Crawfordsville, IN; three brothers, Frank Eversole and wife, Rosa, of Cassopolis, MI, Rev. Charles Eversole and wife, Mary, of Jarvis and William Eversole of Hinkle; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted at the Old Ark House of Prayer Saturday, February 8 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Charles Eversole and Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Eversole Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be grandsons and nephews.
Friends may call at the church Saturday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
