Estil Jack Gray, age 88, of London, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Brenda Wagers Gray; six children, Jeannie Sullivan & husband Bill, Joyce Worley & husband Wayne, Debbie Swim & husband Ronnie, Brenda Moore & husband Tim, Missy Burnett & husband David, and Vickie Cook; two special grandchildren, Dustin Williams and Christian Burnett; five siblings, Ancil Gray, Paul Gray, Ethel Gray, Owen Gray and Elsie Slusher; nine grandchildren, Justin Moore & wife Jessica, Wade Garland & wife Amanda, Kelli Lewis & husband Vince, Krista Paul & husband Jeffery, April Gonzalez & husband Ray, Cody Swim & wife Jona, Ryan Swim & wife Angela, Lisa Grubb and Joe Ore; fourteen great grandchildren, Chloe Gregory, Colton Swim, Claire Swim, Cameron Swim, Tavin Swim, Mason Moore, Mia Moore, Riley Lewis, Graham Lewis, Hunter Paul, Gunner Paul, Nick Ore, Amber Woolum, and Tyler Grubb; four great-great grandchildren, Draiden, Kaiden, Brantley, Lincoln, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Mary Gray; and by five siblings, Virgil Gray, Charlie Gray, Hubert Gray, Edward Gray and Letcher Gray.
Estil worked as a coal miner for more than 40 years. He was a member of Mt. Arat Baptist Church for 26 years. Estil was also a veteran of the United States Army. He loved fox hunting and going to church.
Funeral services for Estil Jack Gray will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Rick Thomas and Lonnie Collett officiating. Burial will follow at Barbourville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 25, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
