Emily Sears Herron, age 69, if Highway 1809, Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital in Barbourville, Kentucky. Emily was born on May 5, 1952 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late Charles and Mary (Disney) Sears. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Herron; brothers, Sonny Sears, Sherman Sears, Oliver Sears, Bob Sears and Tom Sears and a sister, Sarah Sears.
She is survived by two children, Jerry Herron (Sandy) of Rockholds and Cindy Centers (Patrick) of Barbourville; five grandchildren, Tiffany Herron, Rachel Hash, Brent Martin, Noah Miracle and Shasta Walters; two great grandchildren, Colt Hash and Dalton Walters; brother, Sam Sears (Joyce) of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Croley Funeral Home.
