Mrs. Elsie Abner, 73, the widow of Albert Abner Sr., passed away Friday, July 30, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert Jarvis and Nannie Gambrel.
Elsie worked at OPAC, Advanced Auto and the Deli at the BP Truck Stop and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Gray and a brother, Donnie Jarvis.
Survivors include her beloved children, Teresa Abner, Tommy Gray, Albert Earl Gray Jr., Anthony Gray and Travis Abner all of London and Nannie Abner of Columbus, IN; four siblings, Tim, Lowell and Ronnie Jarvis all of London and Linnie Jarvis of Barbourville; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Bowling Funeral Home Monday, August 2 at 1 P.M. with Rev. William R. “Man” Cobb officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Calvin Jordan Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Bowling Funeral Home Monday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
