Mrs. Ellen Jewel Bundy age 77 of Jenkins, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at her home. She was the widow of Gerald Bundy and the daughter of D.H. Woolum and Ruby (France) Woolum born to them on November 23, 1944 in Warren Camp. Ellen had previously worked for many years as a pharmacy tech at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital before retiring.
She is preceded in death by her parents, D.H. and Ruby Woolum, her husband Gerald Bundy and one son Cris Bundy.
Left behind to mourn her passing, one daughter, Teresa Davis and husband Elijah of Jenkins, two sisters, Nellie Houston of Ohio and Priscilla Saunders of Barbourville, nine brothers, Eric Woolum of Georgia, Keith Woolum of Artemus, Richard Woolum of Georgia, David Woolum of Artemus, Joe Woolum of Barbourville, J.T. Woolum and Robert Woolum and Charles Woolum all of Artemus and Terry Woolum of Barbourville. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews along with her fur grandbabies, Jacob Ray and Angel.
A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mrs. Bundy.
