Edward Ray Peters, age 68 of Barbourville was born in Barbourville, KY on March 27, 1953 to Shelby and Myrtle Peters and departed this life on September 3, 2021 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. He was of the of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed riding around, going to the Brick Yard, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, a son: James Peters; 4 brothers: Bert Peters, Jerry Peters, Roy Peters, and a infant brother; and 3 sisters: Helen Rice, Bo peters, and Ruby Peters preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving children: Roy Peters, Darlene Disney, and Mattie Peters all of Barbourville, and April Peters, and Tracey Peters all of Corbin; a brother: Johnny Peters and wife Louise of Barbourville; 11 grandchildren; Soul Mate: Annette Jean Saylor of Barbourville; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Edward Peters will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosenwald Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
