Mrs. Edith Roberts Fuston, 72, of Barbourville, passed away Thursday morning, November 28, 2019 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Rufus Roberts and Zola Helton Roberts Peters born on July 3, 1947.
Edith was a homemaker and a member of the Old Ark House of Prayer. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing cards and bingo, talking with family and friends and spending time with her “babies”.
In 1965, she united in marriage with Frank Tuttle, who preceded her in death, and later in 1987, she united in marriage with Charley Fuston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charley; two daughters, Maggie Roberts Sturdivant and Teresa Tuttle; a sister, Freda Roberts and a very special daughter-in-law, Tracy Tuttle.
Survivors include her children, James Roberts of Barbourville, Brenda Brown and husband, Jerry, Frank Tuttle, Darrell Tuttle and wife, LaRina, and Michael Tuttle all of Barbourville, Crystal Tuttle of Corbin, Tabatha Edwards of Ohio, Kaiala Tuttle and Steve Tuttle and wife, Shyann, all of Barbourville; six brothers, LeeRoy Roberts and wife, Dorothy, of Michigan, Junior Roberts of Ohio, Bige Roberts, Charles Roberts, Ricky Peters and wife, Rhonda, and James Peters all of Barbourville; 17 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, December 7 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Charles Eversole and Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Tanyard Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Eric Hobbs, Cody Smith, Eric Brown, Dustin Mills, Cody McFarland, Keith Tanner, Elijah Messer and Jessy Williams.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Saturday prior to the funeral hour.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
