Mr. Earl Edward Tigue, 54, of Hinkle, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital. He was the son of Betty Taylor Teague Laws and the late Willis Teague born on February 5, 1967 in Pineville.
Earl was a handyman, who enjoyed dealing in scrap metal, and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, ginsenging, watching the Ninja Turtles and spending time with his family.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary Jane.
Survivors include his loving mother, Betty Laws and husband, Gillis, of Pineville; two sisters, Ethel Hibbard and Omia Roark of Hinkle; two brothers, Ray Teague and wife, Melissa, of Hinkle and Bill McKenzie and wife, Maryetta, of Pineville; a special niece, Crystal Hibbard; other nieces and nephews; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, September 2 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Chico Jordan and Rev. Roger Liford officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Callebs Creek Cemetery.
Casket bearers will Harmon Payne, Jonah Payne, Kyle Payne, Gillis Laws and Terry Wayne Jordan.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
The family requests that all visitors wear a facial covering and practice social distancing during the visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
